Meet Ashwin Alfred Joseph, a key member of the Audit team at HLB Berman Fisher, serving as an esteemed Audit Senior. In 2023, Ashwin embarked on a new professional chapter by moving to Grand Cayman, where he brings his extensive expertise to our firm.

A dedicated member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Ashwin has a rich international background. His early years in Singapore and educational pursuits in India, culminating in a Bachelor's of Commerce, have provided him with a unique global perspective in finance and accounting.

Ashwin's professional journey is marked by significant roles in top-tier firms. He began at PwC in the expat tax department, showcasing his adaptability and expertise. After obtaining his ACCA qualification in 2018, he smoothly transitioned into the audit sector. Ashwin's career further evolved at Ernst & Young Global Limited and WithumSmithBrown, where he was an integral part of the wealth and asset management / financial services team. His primary focus was the comprehensive end-to-end audit of mutual funds, partnerships, private equity, and venture capital funds.
